A.I.M.E.E XM - **Release**
Yes!
The A.I.M.E.E team have released something! (No sniggering in the back!)
Following the release of FrodoXM Service yesterday, here is the first Beta of A.I.M.E.E XM.
Code:
Changelog
*********
A.I.M.E.E XM.exe -- 1.0.0.1
-- Bug Fix: Skinned Signal Status
-- New Features: Implemented services.dat file to speed up loading
*********
A.I.M.E.E XM.exe -- 1.0.0.0 -- Inital Release
Download A.I.M.E.E XM Beta 2
Code:
A.I.M.E.E XM Beta 1
Requirements:
VB6 Runtimes
FrodoXM Service must be installed, and XMClient.dll must be
registered on your machine
Configuration:
aimeexm.ini is the main configuration file
Contents of aimeexm.ini:
[Appearance]
FullScreen= True/False
WindowWidth= If FullScreen=False, width of window (pixels)
WindowHeight= If FullScreen=False, height of window (pixels)
WindowLeft= If FullScreen=False, window left (pixels)
WindowTop= If FullScreen=False, window top (pixels)
DaySkin= Directory name containing Day Skin
NightSkin= Directory name containing Day Skin
DaySkinSwitchTime= Hr:Min:Sec to switch to Day Skin
NightSkinSwitchTime= Hr:Min:Sec to switch to Day Skin
AutoSwitchDayNightSkin= True/False
ShowMouseCursor= True/False
[XMRadio]
FrodoXMServicePath= Full Path\Filename of FrodoXMService.exe
LastChannel= Last channel listened to
Preset1= First Preset
Preset2= Second Preset
Preset3= Third Preset
[Services.dat]
The services.dat file contains information on the available channels. Should the channel listing change dramatically, delete this file and A.I.M.E.E. XM will rebuild this file the next time it runs.
Useage:
Run A.I.M.E.E XM.exe
A.I.M.E.E XM will tune last played channel
It will then load all stations/details into listing - this may take a few seconds,
depending on the number of channels and speed that it updates, this will take longer the first time when services.dat is deleted.
Once this is done, channel listings will be available for scrolling
Double-clicking on a channel, or clicking on "Tune" will tune the
selected channel.
You can also have three presets saved. Click on the Preset button to tune to that preset.
To save presets, tune to the channel, and press/hold the Preset button for ~3 seconds - the display will then change to show that the Preset has been saved.
Volume controls main volume. Volume increases/decreases by 1% intervals for 0-15% and by 5% intervals for 20-100%
Mute is a toggle which controls the hardware Mute function within your XM hardware.

Bugs.
1. List doesn't immediatley populate.
2. Double Clicking List Changes channel properly, but the info jumps to channel 1.
---(Could be combo bug with my stuff, will check)
3. There are like these funny little pink sliders or something out of place, looks like
signal strength ?

Re-released as Beta 2
Check first post for changelog/download link.
I'll look at embedding once I get home and have a half-decent net connection to download/install Centrafuse.

I've found a bug with the signal strength.
Updated Beta 2 (re-download if you've already got it), and have also included the fonts required to view it properly

Are there any SendMessage Codes? I need to be able to use a remote through Girder more than anything else.
