Angry RoadRunner, Winamp, PhoneCo, Bluetooth, Window Hibernation, which one?

Okay I have this feaking bad problem. That cover a many area so I don't know where to post.
Road Runner: Latest version as of 10/20/05
Winamp: 2.9x or 5.x
Phonco v1.3, 1.5 trial.
XpSP2
Bluetooth: CSR dongle and Widcome driver.
With cold boot, windows take a little longer with the bluetooth plugin compare to without.
If I put the PC to hibernate when everthing were running, the next resume from hibernate screw up Winamp. It sound like stretch/broken tape. I mean crapppppp. But if I close winamp, it playback fine.
If the PC comes back from hibernate without bluetooth dongle, everything fine. The problem I know is the bluetooth driver, but I have no freaking problem with the PC at work (w2k) and at home (xp).

How the hell am I going to solve this problem? I try to use the bluetooth driver that come with the dongle, but the problem get worst (installed zillion of serial ports when I chose not to). I also look into update sound driver, but the latest driver was 2 years or so ago. That mean I already have the latest. Regardless of PhoneCo version, Winamp version, RoadRunner version, I still have the same freaking problem.

My bandage solution right now is close winamp before hibernate and run when come back. That is a PITA.

not a solution, just a workaround...would be to script the open/close of winamp.

Sorry you got troubles...that sucks

May want to look into an adapter that works with the out of the box SP2 bluetooth driver
Much better than the horrible WIDCOMM bull****

Well, this is how I work around the problem (bandage solution).
With Girder, it works wonder. Shutdown RoadRunner on hibernate, and re-run when resume.
Hibernate/Suspend:
Girder Event: OnQuerySuspend
Action: Quit Road Runner "QUIT"
Resume from hibernate:
Girder Event: OnResumeStandBy
Action: Ostab-> Execute RoadRunner "rr.exe"

Work well

Well, the bandage solution work well for me, but sometime, winamp doesn't close . That leave Road Runner hanging dead during start up.
I try other version of bluetooth driver including MS bluetooth, but nothing work.
The last resource is trying to upgrade Sound card driver.
After googling like a mad cow, for Cmedia driver for the built in sound card, but that doesn't work either because the built in sound card is not Cmedia (Asus website indicate that the chip is Cmedia.)
The current sound card driver was by nVidia. I just download the latest driver from nVidia website. To my supprise, it works. Not that it works but nVidia driver works ******* GOOD. It has all source of setting for enviromental sound. The first time since I my project complete, the system sound awsome. Virtual surround sound is not as nice as real surround sound, but much better than stereo.
Now all everything work as suppose to be and better.
So that is my REAL solution incase anyone has problem like mine.

Just a suggestion, why not use Hibernate Trigger - have it run a "killtask" BAT file to kill winamp directly (will insure it actually closes) when going into stanby, when coming out it can simply run the winamp exe and reopen it.

I did use Hibernate Trigger by Evandude's friend, but that doesn't solved the problem because winamp sometime doesn't shutdown completely. That leave RR hanging on next start up. Then I switch to Girder's built in resume/hibernate event but it work the same way as Hibernate Trigger. Since I don't want additional apps run on my PC, I just use the app that already running in the system, Girder.
BTW, the problem was solve by update the Sound driver.
What reall confuse me was Asus said the sound chip was by CMedia, but the driver was by nVidia. Well, it works.
