Windows XP Pro Corp with Service Pack 2
Windows XP Pro OEM with Service Pack 2
Windows XP Pro Retail with Service Pack 2

Difference is that the Retail will have support from MS tech support. OEM won't. And Corp will not have to be activated.

Windows XP Media Center 2005 with Service Pack 2
Its the media center.

Home... stay away.

Ummmm. The OEM versions of Windows to provide support from MS, although they suggest you get support through your reseller first.

I only know this because we are a reseller.

Oh... ok.

The OEM is cheaper and doesn't come with the manuals, etc.

How about Windows XP Tablet Edition? I work with tablet pc's at my office. It has a really nice built in On Screen Keyboard and it has handwriting recognition. It works on a touch screen on a car computer perfectly as I have tested with it first hand. It also has very nice speech recognition built in as well.
