Front Row for PC-Need Team

I want to start a team to port front row from mac to pc. I need a lot of help because the only thing i could help with is photoshop. So i could design most of the UI, But im not quite sure where to start to make a front end. We would want it to be almost identical to front row on mac except adding some extra buttons like gps and settings, or anything else.

Front Row:

Main Menu could look something like this:

Ideas? Suggestions? Help!, I really want to get this started.

I would have thought something like this could be done in RR using the correct skin/photoshop/flash skills.

Why is everyone so hot on iTunes?
You get music in their proprietary format (m4a, I believe), which isn't compatible with anything else...

Of course, that's typical Apple for ya...

If I want digital music, I want it in a format that is going to be transportable so I can listen to it on my PC or my MP3 player or burn it to a CD or whatever.

I believe the word you're looking for is implement.

There are plugins for Winamp to play .m4a format for those that wish to use them. I personally don't get all this itunes stuff.

iTunes works with mp3 files as well. You don't need to buy their stuff.

i dont want to do this becuz of the format or anything its because it organizes your videos by categories, and its a nice clean interface, i havn't found one single front end that looks very professional, i want to be able to browse through my songs by clicking on "title" "artist" or "album", does anyone know of a front end that will do that?

I'm totally new here and to car pc's don't have one, and probably wont for a while, just got a 06 WRX that I want to put a pc in. I was considering designing my own front end, perhaps I'll start a thread here to get some input and ideas regarding features that are most wanted and when I design mine I can put it out there for others use also. This is just an idea though! Not a promise to make a new front end.
