lcdc plugin for gps N E S W

ok so i am making an over head console and puting a matrix orbital 2x20 lcd in it i would like a plugin that would display the gps direction like a stock over head console would do it already has temp plugins although i have no idea what probes i can use those with i may be able to figure that out but i just cant seem to find a plugin for direction if anyone has an idea pls HELP!

Ok. You need Delphi to make the plugin. I tried making the plugin for Map Monkey, but it didn't want to work with the dll

What GPS progam are you going to be using?

i tend to use mappoint hmmm i dono ive also thought about just picking up a raw lcd and an ic and making my own. it may end up being easier but for now ill have a look at the lcdc sdk and play with delphi a little thanx 0l33l

No problem. ukchris has made a delphi NMEA parser. He should point you in the right direction on how to parse NMEA data directly for the GPS disregarding the map program.
