In the splash screen of Phoco (when it starts) i can read:
- Initializing phone
..
then...
- Reset phone
and immediatly the pc reboot !!!!

I've read something about to not use the serial port service, but to use the dial-conn.....someone can explain me better???

SOME LAST ADDS:
I tried to use windows bt drivers and phoco run good, but not the audio (this is because windows bt drivers don't support audio gateway). When i reinstalled widcomm bt drivers....phoco don't want to run...as sayd above, it causes the crash of the system....

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

P.S.: When i try the wizard config, at the step for searching com ports, i receive this error

See the end of this message for details on invoking

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

I have Nokia 6680 too and find lots of diffculties to connect to PhoneControl in centrafuse 1.6.

Nothing seems to work.
I also have the bluescreen and reboot when phoco try to connect to the phone.

I use WIDCOMM + patches and a TRUST BT180 bluetooth USB dongle.

Hopping we will find a solution.

i don't really know the secret of it to be honest.

it was lot of trial and error
my BT dongle is the belkin F8T008 and i'm using widcomm version 5.x drivers

also the sound wasn't working until i tried it for the first time with Mobile Impact (front end)

have you run the wizard for phoco?
the best idea is to just get phoco and the phone working first rather than takling front end integration

don't know

i set it up from scratch on another and this is what i did

put dongle in...windows recognises and installs crappy windows drivers

update drivers for 'Generic Bluetooth Radio' with WIDCOMM 5.x drivers

install WIDCOMM 5.x software

run through Phoco wizard

go to extended configurator>SymbianOS and change IsSymbian to FALSE

then run phoco

I've solved all of my problems. Now run all perfectly. Only a last question: how can I "upload" the phonebook in the pc?? I read that 6680 do not supports the sincronization with PhoCo, but there is a way to copy the phonebook in PhoCo??

Thanks

yeah you need to use Nokia PC suite to get them off the phone and then either vCard converter or csv converter depending on which files come out
both of those programs are with PhoCo

i'm since put it all back in my car and lost the sound during call again, any tips?
