Here is a simple gas mileage calculator that records gas mileage, you can also store other maintanance records (ie oil changes). It requires .net 2.0 and sql. Program is very basic i can develop it more if there is demand.


To install just run the setup.exe and make sure that the database (.mdf file is located at c:\gasCalculator\vehicleRecorde.mdf).

It was created using visual c# if anyone would like the source code to further develop PM me.

Note: if you leave distance blank it will calculate based on current mileage and mileage of previous entry or you can manaully enter the distance (for first entry or in case you missed an entry).

Hey, I tried this program. The program gives a .NET error. I click ignore, and it continues to the program. Anyway to get rid of that error.

I have installed .Net 2.0

I am using TinyXP. That MIGHT be the problem. I will try it on an non TinyXP Machine.

Also, anyway to make the buttons bigger?

One other thing, you say in your post that one needs to make sure that "vehicleRecorde.mdf" is in the right place, but there is no "vehicleRecorde.mdf" only "vehicleRecords.mdf" Which one is it.
