Just Hello.

Just To say that i'm working hard to do a cool version.

Actually here what's done.

- GPS Receiver Data Acquire with xport
- FIX : selection in bottom of playslist seems incorrect
- Optimize GPS Data Acquire
- Label GPSLat done
- Label GPSLon done
- Label GPSSpeed done
- Label GPSAlt done
- Label GPSHDG done
- Fix Some error in Brainz skin loading.
- Fix Some Error in Mobile-Tronics skin loading
- Fix Button draw on non full screen page.
- Fix at last font size to match VB one. very tricky. Stupid windows API.
- Added security for video playing while moving in .ini
- Started Lighning speed skin loading.
- Intern change in button command.
- Fix possible bad indicator state (non initialized variable)
- First version of super speed skin loading. Here is my log.

EniCar started
0.000 Start Register Command
0.000 End Register Command
0.000 Start Reader init
0.000 End Reader init
0.000 Start Read enicar.ini
0.000 End Read enicar.ini
0.000 Start Cache Media
0.000 Start cache subdir mp3
0.031 End cache subdir mp3
0.031 Start cache subdir video
0.047 End cache subdir video
0.047 Start sort mp3
0.047 End sort mp3
0.047 Start sort video
0.047 End sort video
0.047 End Cache Media
0.047 Start Video Window
0.047 End Video Window
0.047 Start Mplayer init
0.094 End Mplayer init
0.094 Starting GPS
0.797 GPS Started
0.828 Start Serial
0.828 End Serial
0.828 Stat Read Skin Cache
1.235 End Read Skin Cache

So it takes about 0.5sec to load the entire MC2.0 skin in memory (44Mo of data to load on my First generation PIV 3.0ghz). The slowest thing is to wait for IG to load lol. Peharps i should rewrite IG lolllll.
I still have a few things to do on skin loading. And modify a few things in INI file. Expect a version in 2 days, 3 if i'm lazy.

Thanks for the offer. But for the instant Enitalp.com is doing the job. peharps i could use a mirror later.

For ETA, easy : when it will be done. lol.

Actualy i have so many things to do. Some are fast, some are longer. i only work in the evening, and some evening i only work 20 mins as i'm already tired from my previous 8 hours coding before getting home. But i try to go as fast as i can.

My previous TODO list :

Support more than one indicator (i only support mute for instant lol. but all the loading is done).
Support for gps data (as soon as my gps receiver cooperate). DONE
Cache for file list.
Lightning speed skin loading. IN PROGRESS
Automatic rear camera switch.
Support for Mutiple Camera with on the fly record.
HQCT FM Radio support.
EDIT : almost forgot. Modify MPlayer, to avoid song skip problem, to keep the volume between two song, to calculate the FFT and send it to EniCar for visualization.
Later : ODB2 support.
IE/Firefox integration.
IG2.x integration (for the instant i've only tested the V3.0)
Other GPS software integration.
Compatibility with all RR skins (today i know that MC2.0 & Bongo are working pretty well, must do a pass with all skins to resolve each skin problem).
Weather page.
Skin change page.
Blocking Video if car moves (value in .ini) DONE

i dont know if any one has noticed this aswell but when in the audio player and you have a long song name highlighted, the CPU usage shoots up to 100%. I am pretty sure it's to do with the scrolling of the song title.

In fact, anywhere there is scrolling text the CPU usage goes upto 100%! (Athlon 1.4Ghz, 768Mb RAM, Geforce2 MX)

can anything be done to rectify this?

Does the computer slow down ?

if not it's just windows that doesn't know how to handle my way of programming.
If it slow down there is a problem in my code.

Yes the computer slows down completely. I'm pretty sure its the scrolling text. Do you not get the same issue?

Actualy i never used EniCar in my Car lol. So i'm always on my PIV 3.0ghz. and there is no slowdown.

I will do something for that in the next version.
