enitalp,
something you may be interested in, if you do not already know it, guino has come up with a plugin for RR that displays embedded album art from the ID3 tag. Works great!

Are you happy yet with your version?
I think a 1-1-2007 release would be awesome!

I have tested Enicar with minlogon. No go. It wouldn't come out, not sure why. It's listed in the TaskManager though...

You're the second person with this problem. Launch the log is complete but no display. I have to make some test and add some more debug in the log. There is no reason for that, i need nothing except GDI and basic mfc, all base of windows. (i just need flash to be installed of course for flash based skin).
For the next version don't know if it will be the first but i'm in 2 weeks holiday at this time. So more time to work.

I had a lot of problems with minlogon. Its not a surprise to me. minlogon was making my mobo ignore the shutdown signal. I left it out of my newest xp image. There are ways to get fast boots minus logon screens without using minlogon. My XP image gets 20 second cold boots with no minlogon. I boot from flash.
I can confirm that Enicar DOES work with EWF (enhanced write filter) which is another XPE component

Sorry to hear that blk02si. Then you're using Devcon for the shutdown then?
I have no problems with MinLogon for all my 3 mobos (1 fried, 1 too slow and 1 that's I'm currently using).
Thanks for the effort enitalp. Appreciated it... Oh, and if you need someone to test it out as shell, do let me know. I'm prepared to hose my system. Planning for a reinstall anytime soon...

I hate to admit... But this frontend is about the only one that's convincing me to make a carputer.
I've run the few versions on my laptop so far to test, and I'm happy with the steady move forward in the development.
I can't wait to see what the next version holds. Heck, I know he doesn't want a mob of angry carputer users ( ) at his door, so it's going to be soon.
