I don't think so.
The press release makes this appear to be more of a standalone device that has specific functionality, namely weather, traffic and GPS navigation.
It's basically a souped-up TomTom, if my speculation is correct.

And certainly, nothing on that site indicates WHAT THE HELL IT IS. That site is a waste of time. It is like the original Infiniti commercials, pictures and words, that have nothing to do with a car. Wonder why they changed thier advertising campaign so quickly

Hype - a lot of marketing is hype.

If you get people intrigued they will be interested.

I myself am interested to know what they have coming out. It may not fit the needs of the members of this board, however, I don't think they are going for the hobbiest market either.
