i have irman and i am using the irman plugin for winamp but i want to also use girder to control more apps, when i have girder open then open winamp it cannot open comport for winamp plugin and visa versa, any way to get around this?

I don't believe so... When one application uses the com port it locks it so nothing else has access. You should be able to have Girder do everything the the Winamp plug-in does.
