I used NMC (Neomediacar) who did it.

Unfortunately it's not developed any more.

That's kind of how mediate ice works at the moment... Just pick the first file in a folder and it will play the entire folder. Very simple - sort of a mix of folder/playlist approach. We do plan on adding better playlist support (loading/saving) at some point too.

The thing you can t do with it is select a top folder which has a lot of subfolders and have it recursively play all the folder. Really great application btw
Oh, also, i can t seem to register for the licence on your site, a blank page appears

nobb will become famous soon enoughnobb will become famous soon enough
I think I found a bug. I downloaded the latest version, and then I uninstalled it. Now I cant get rid of the @home media folder in my start menu. When I right click the folder, I only have the option to collapse or expand, no delete. I am running Vista btw.

Also, Ive noticed that after uninstall, the mediate helper application does not get removed from the startup list in msconfig. Just a small annoyance.

i checked out the program quickly

couple things ive notive my first time using it.

1. to setup media and other things should be embedded in the origanl program
when i opened it and played around i couldnt find where to setup my media then i went and found it in my start menu

you should not have to leave the program to do anything.

2. the music jumped straight to vis when i clicked on it. I think that should be an option not how it works. I like to see all my songs while they are playing. I personally never use the vis full screen in my car.

3. the main skin should be very nice people will try your frontend based on the skin alone so the better your skin looks the more people will at least test it out.

some good new is it was very quick and responsive i didnt test it yet with 2000 songs loaded but i can later.

just a small request. I found that in the xmls you can set the default resolution of the mediate, how about also a default position? Just offset from the topright most pixel, or something like that =)

Do you mean the window position? Sounds doable, but would help if we understood why you wanted it to do that? A simple implementation would be to remember the last window position then you can drag it where you want. Are you running some kind of multiple screen setup?

1. At some point we'll include this functionality in the main theme, but its fairly low priority at present since it typically only gets done once then ignored. Ideally, everything should be touch screen friendly but it takes a lot longer to implement compared to using Windows forms.

2. That feature has already been requested and we're working on implementing that for the next release. Soon hopefully!

3. The skin/theme is a work in progress.. really we would love some community input as there is a lot of talent out there, but realistically we would have to release the theme designer first.

Thanks for reporting that. We haven't tested mediate on Vista yet, although there are reports of it working fine from our users (this issue aside). We now have a Vista test machine so will take a look at these points.

I personally am not a designer but i know from my own personal experiance is
that if i liked the screen shots of the app then i would try it and then look at the functionallity.

my first choice a couple yrs ago when i started was frodoplayer because of the sony skin design it was really nice. they i tried mobile impact but i left it because of the lack of functions. now i am currently using Centrafuse and it is really good all around but it will not be free soon.

hopefully that helps
