SIS is not responding to my emails after asking them to release an update that would correct this issue. My contact at Jetway has also looked into the issue with no luck from SIS. I believe they are working on a solution but have not given me a time line or any other solution. I will keep you all posted if I get a response. We are working on a solution on the SD end that will hopefully fix this issue. It will take soooommmme time and I hope SIS beats us to the punch.

FYI.... I'm building my first carputer based on the Intel D201GLY board which also has Mirage graphics and it has the same issue. Maybe the friendly folks at Intel might be willing to help out with this. Just a thought.

Just a quick update, and sorry about the delay. The lines are still present with 1.10.0.0. Any more help heading your way from the chipset manufactores? Any idea when the next update will be out?

Hey guys. New to the forums, but am plagued by this problem. I just pieced together a carputer, and I decided I liked SD better than CF, but am using that damned SiS Mirage video card embedded in my Intel D201GLY mobo.
Streetdeck (Demo)
This is what I see:
I am also running the most current set of drivers for all hardware, video included. I set it all up on a laptop, and I didn't have this problem.
DVD playback seems to be affected in a similar way. Can anyone else who is having this problem, confirm that?

I got tired of waiting for a fix for this so I bought a PCI graphics card from Newegg. PNY Geforce FX5200 256MB PCI Graphics Card cost me about 50 bucks and navi displays perfectly.

"hgreen70" no, I don't think i'm running those drivers. I might be though. I updated them from their website not too long ago, but do not remember what version is on it at the moment. I need to hook the whole thing up again on my bench and check it out. By the sounds of it though, I get the impression that you are or were in the same predicament as me, and know these drivers to work??? I hope... As soon as I get a chance, I will try these and post results to here.
"jd520" as lovely as that sounds. in the carputer enclosure I have (MCS) I wouldn't be able to fit a PCI videocard even though I have the slot. The cheapest "going with a different video card" route that I can take in my situation, is to simply buy a new mini-itx mobo w/ a more desirable video chipset. Am I willing to do that just to work around a bug in SD? no way. This is why RoadRunner is looking far more tempting at the moment.
Hopefully "hgreen70" is on to something, and i'll get this resolved.
Thanks for the feedback!

"hgreen70" I am using those 3.83 drivers released 10/15/07.
Just for giggles, im goign to revert to the oldest available driver. see if it makes any difference?
