BTW I just had a thought......(yes I m capable)
Is it possible that the "updater" doesnt work right?
What im saying is that maybe the updater depends on specific settings and /or running modules
maybe thats why we all get different results even though we all have G4 s
and update with the same version
which brings me back to what I had posted sometime ago
What if we can have an updater that resets everything to default settings and then update and test
We wouldnt want to loose our personalized settings of course so I suggested that maybe we can have a little module/ap that saves a "personal preferences file" with all our settings
If we test with default and it works, and then apply our "settings file" and we get bugs, at least it makes it easier to troubleshoot

The only thing wrong with this is that the SD coders have their hands full already but, think of it as investing in the future, built infrastructure that will help them with future updates

You can use -resetconfig to reset your configuration to default.

Config.xml and options.sdo contain all the options for StreetDeck. There is nothing stored in the registry. Just make a copy and restore this file to go to / from your settings and other ones.

You can not change the framerate on the T3 or G4.

Do you want everyone with this problem to try the config reset or just those on the infills?

If you believe the issue occurred after you changed a setting, Any SD user can troubleshoot using this method.

This appears to be caused by T3devControl.dll being present in an install on a non-Infill platform. If your not running on an Infill T3 or G4. You should delete the file T3devControl.dll and the problem shoudl go away. You may need to create an empty dummy file in its place to get around the automated installer issues.

I've just tested this on my laptop with 1.0.9.8.

With this update, I've noticed a bunch of pink text at the bottom that wasn't there before.

Came up with something like 25 notices before SD opened fully.

However, this issue does appear to be fixed now.

As soon as someone else can confirm, I will close this issue.

If you didn't delete T3DevControl.dll, you probably should as it still tries to use it if its there, but will fail after a number of seconds and lengthen your start time.
