Got the same results. We are working on a solution. This requires that we rewrite the whole sound control scheme for streetdeck. There is no ETA on the solution.

XP compatibility mode in Vista works for me
Wow.
I was trying everything to get the volume to work and running SD under XP SP2 compatibility finally made the volume work.
Fixed my problem!

Fixed volume, broke Navi.
Got way too excited.
Volume works, but Navigation is now broke when trying to run SD in XP SP2 compatibility. Back to square one.

There are several issues I encountered with SD in Vista while trying to run under XP compatibility mode. It may fix the volume issue, but it "breaks" several other functions (incl. Nav, XM, and some button finctionalities). I would not recommend running Streetdeck in XP compatibility mode for any reason.

Well I installed the latest update and when I started SD, it said I was running the Demo copy and asked for the reg info. I found it, entered it in, and got SD up and running again. The Nav module won't initialize now saying the map data isn't installed. However all of the bugs I reported including this one still don't work so I think something happened with the upgrade. I need to get the Nav working again so I'll probably uninstall and start fresh. I'll report back once I get everything going again.

I reverted back to 1.1.0.0 to get the Nav module to initialize, but the volume control doesn't work in any version on Vista
