What version of StreetDeck is this bug report for?

Font Import

Is the system that is listed in your CarPC specs under your user name the same system where you encountered this bug?

here is the error

WARNING: CFontUtil::Convert - Conversion Failed! The height of the input bitmap (C:\Documents and Settings\TheSin\My Documents\StreetDeck\UI\Skins\Ford\Fonts\Font25.pn g) is not evenly divisible by the number of supported characters (95)

And I copied them right from the Default theme, any ideas?

Please list the steps required to recreate the issue you are reporting.

open a new theme, click import font, select the font, I have tried them all.

Please provide any relevent information regarding the issue you have encountered.

The font import tool is for importing font templates. The import tool will take a template and output a font that can be used with StreetDeck. The fonts distributed with StreetDeck are the output of the font import tool and are NOT templates.

Please see this thread for additional details on creating fonts. The font templates used to create teh default fonts are also linked in this thread. to create a new font, you should modify the font template, then send it through the import tool which will result in the new font.

ahh I understand now thanks, sorry about the bogus report. I think I have the hang of this skinning stuff now, I hope

Spent the last 12hours working on one and only have one small bug thus far that I can see.

As a side note, is it bad form to make a skin that expects certain digital mods to be installed? Like is that frowned on?

Issue resolved, thread closed.

I'd ask your question directly to chuck via email or I'd post it in the general discussion are of StreetDeck. We need to keep bug reports clean if at all possible.
