This feature is operating as designed. This feature is not extremely intelligent and needs exact spelling and for the registered POI to be within the local area. I used this feature yesterday to find the mall in town. Just typed in mall and it took me right to it.

So to find 'Best Buy' in Dallas, it didn't find anything...nothing within 50+ miles...which I know is not correct.
I'm not quite sure how else the spelling could be for Best Buy? Searching under the same spelling in Online returned results, even with the faker nav data?

I can see Panda Express showing up on the preview window, so I search local for it. A number of results show up. However, Best Buy doesn't?

Is this just to assume that all of the various POIs we've all tried just aren't in the POI DB?

I've actually noticed that Best Buy/Circuit City/CompUSA etc. and the like are not in the POI database of any navigation I've ever used. They are considered "Specialty Stores" and I guess that means they aren't included. I'm sure some databases out there include them, but none of the Garmin or TomTom units have them, Mappoint nor IGuidance, and to top it all off, the OEM Nav I had in my car before going CarPC, did not have them. My friend's Lexus OEM Nav also does not have them.
