Severity 4 - Lowest Black screen when come back from hibernate
What version of StreetDeck is this bug report for?

1.1.0.0

Please give a basic description of the issue here.

When I have a script installed that uses CreateHostWindow, then when coming back from hibernate I get a black screen, and music has stopped.

During this time, the buttons (which you cant see) in streetdeck still work. When you press them they make the button press noise.

Is the system that is listed in your CarPC specs under your user name the same system where you encountered this bug?

Are you able to reproduce this bug at will?

Yes

Please list the steps required to recreate the issue you are reporting.

1) Load basic sample http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/stre...1-1-0-0-a.html
2) Install it on SD pc
3) Load SD
4) Turn car off (Go into hibernate)
5) Turn car on

Please run with -verbose and post another log.

Does it eventually come back if you wait a while? Sometimes some devices can take a while to come out of hibernation and StreetDeck will wait for them until they do.

Here you go.

No doesnt come back.

buttons still work

In this log:
*load
*start playing audio file
*turn off car
*turn on car
*black screen
*press black area where buttons are to shutdown

Does it work if you rename your my documents\StreetDeck\Scripts directory?

You are correct Chuck.
By renaming the scripts directory, SD does return from hibernate correctly.

I have moved this thread to the bug form as I have been able to replicate the error with a sample plugin.

Get the sample from here

Looks like the issue affects any plugin that uses CreateHostWindow()

Im away over xmas so testing is not that easy.
However after a quick test it does seem to be working correctly.

Not sure about vista
