SD always resumes to home screen...
What version of StreetDeck is this bug report for?
SD North America 1.0.6.3 is what is displayed in the corner when I open it, but I've downloaded all of the updates to the newest version (I think)...I got a wireless connection today and it said no new updates again. Btw...1.0.6.3 sounds old...I just got the software a month ago..is that unusual?
Please give a basic description of the issue here.
SD always resumes to home screen, rather than last state
Is the system that is listed in your CarPC specs under your user name the same system where you encountered this bug?
Yes
If no, please describe your system here. Are you able to reproduce this bug at will?
Yes
Please list the steps required to recreate the issue you are reporting.
Put system in standby, then resume (turn car off...wait...turn car on)
Please provide any relevent information regarding the issue you have encountered.
Despite the fact that I have the startup settings set to resume into the last state (or any of the other options for that matter), SD always restarts to the home screen. Is there a reason for this or something I can do to fix it? I would like to be able to start SD in the Navigation screen.
Thanks!

There are actually 2 options that you have to set.. one is to resume the last playing media.. and the other is to start the previously opened module (something to that effect) you have to set the last one if you want it to open navigation..
it works.. I did that this weekend on mine and it now goes to whatever module I was in last when I start my car

I've edited your post to reflect the format of the bug reports as it should be. Please fill out the form accordingly.

Previously opened module?
Where is the option for the previously opened module? Is that supposed to be in the settings > general > startup menu? I am not seeing it...all that is there is screen setting (full screen, windowed, etc.) and state (last state, navigation, home, music, etc.)

nationapn - please tell us specifically what version of SD you are running. 1.0.9.8? 1.1.0.1?

it is in fact called "Select the window state that the program should start in"
I picked last playing media
your options are:
Last playing media
Navigation
Pictures
Rearview Camera
I am using version 1.1.0.1 of streetdeck if you are not using the latest version.. please upgrade and try it again

That's what doesn't work..
That's the setting I've been changing, and it simply doesn't work. What I have noticed, though, is that when I tell it to load the Navigation state, when I resume from standby the Navigation button is highlighted in the home screen, and when I select the setting to resume to the rear view camera the more... button is highlighted in the main screen upon return from standby. Weird...
Btw..I updated my version in the original post...
SD North America 1.0.6.3 is what is displayed in the corner when I open it, but I've downloaded all of the updates to the newest version (I think)...I got a wireless connection today and it said no new updates again. Btw...1.0.6.3 sounds old...I just got the software a month ago..is that unusual?

ok - you need to manually update using the links provided in the forum.
The online updates are not current for reasons that go beyond the scope of this thread. Please check the stickies and update to the latest version and report back.
All of the DVDs are shipped with the 1.0.6.3 version, you have to manually update after you install.

Problem solved!
I updated to the latest version, and it solved my problem. However, now it's taking forever to boot up, and SD runs VERY slowly (even to display icons). Hmm...
Thanks for your help!
