Where is the log?

The StreetDeck logs can be found under the my documents folder for the current user.

i.e. ...My Documents\StreetDeck\Logs

If you run with the command line option -verbose, StreetDeck will log a whole lot more information and will tell you in exactly which module the program is in when it failed. This should be used when submitting a log as a bug report and for general debugging.
