Any updates on this? This would be a very nice feature to have working and it feels bad having my car2pc going to waste.

Anyone Able To Help!!!
Chuck (God_Of_CPU),
I know you're extraordinarily busy working on different features in Streetdeck, but is there any way you can communicate with Dmitry at indashpc.org to try and get a working car2pc plugin? This would make a huge impact on a large number of Streetdeck users trying to keep their eyes on the road. Thank you for all of your help on an already great product.

This would be a huge help. I've got a couple of people that are interested in this as well.

Anyone have the source code for the Car2PC plugin for Centrafuse? I have been looking for it for months. No one is willing to either update it or post the code so it can be modified.

Which buttons on the head unit usually work with a plugin like this?

With RoadRunner, my Car2PC was able to read the Track Up/Track Down, and the "Preset" buttons. I honestly didn't experiment that much with it, because a client delivered a copy of StreetDeck.
However, that same client now has the money to build his system, and he's looking more at RoadRunner than StreetDeck because of the head unit functionality. This is a big deal to them, and I don't have the programming skills to make it happen. Hell, the unit is listed as being compatible with StreetDeck.

I am currently using the Car2PC adapter with Centrafuse (from fluxmedia.net) It works pretty good but there are a lot of features that are still missing and bugs that needs to be fixed.
I have looked all over the place, including emailing the support for Car2PC but I havent been able to locate the source code for it.
These are the current functions that are available.
Next Track, Previous Track, Disc +, Disc -, Shuffle/Random, Fast Forward and Rewind.
Thats all I can think of, but there might be more.
If someone find the Centrafuse source code please post it.

No help from indashpc?
At this point it doesn't look like there's any help coming from the indashpc side of the house. While I received an email this past summer saying they were working on it, the last I've heard is that there is no plan for a Streetdeck plugin because it looks like it's been siderailed by a Centrafuse plugin in development.
It doesn't seem like too much work would be needed to get this code actually working with the hardware (if only I knew how to code).

Would that be the Centrefuse plugin I'm working on?
I'm only working on it because I have Centrafuse. I'm not affiliated with InDashPC in any way. I have, however, mentioned (on InDashPC) my intention to open it up a bit after completing the CF one to allow it to be easily ported to other CarPC software.

Yeah, nm....my mistake. Good on you for working on the plugin on your own, Nerve. The support from indashpc is almost as bad as trying to get a streetdeck bug fixed! It's surprising, too, considering indash's business would skyrocket with functioning SD and CF plugins. Thanks for your help with the CF plugin!

That's ok, you have an RX-8, the car I am in the process of buying (if my dealer ever finds me the one I want)!
I'm still very much actively, working on the plugin so once it's done (maybe a couple of weeks) then I will consider opening it up to allow plugin developers for the different front ends to use it. If anyone is interested in interfacing with this library then let me know.

Good deal...Let me know if you have any questions about setting up a computer in the RX-8. There are a few great places to put the pc, and two great options for mounting the screen.
