QWERT Layout....... UPDATED

I changed the modules around a little bit but I also corrected the QWERT keyboard layout. The search button is not hidden on this one.

Hope this helps someone out.

This is a zipped file... just extract it and run the sdz file.

I can't even open the zip archive. WinZip says: "Not a valid archive".

If I use WinRAR instead of WinZip, I can open the archive (whether named as a .zip or .sdz) but get an error. The error is: "Unexpected end of archive".

If I dismiss the error dialog, I see a directory 'blaaa' and file 'version.txt'.

I still can't extract the 'blaa' directory which contains the skin elements though; WinRAR complains that the archive is corrupt or of an unknown format.

Thanks for the update.

its not a compressed file at all... its just the packaged install file.

Actually a .sdz is just a renamed .zip file. The only difference I can see is that SD adds a "version.txt" file to the archive.
The file contains:
1.0.6.3
Skin
1.0
{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}

I assume this is to prevent compatibility issues with skins built with earlier versions of the SDK.

When I use the WinRAR 'Repair' tool I can extract all but one file: tabup_horiz.png

The error is:

..\..\My Documents\StreetDeck\UI\Skins\S60R_4\Orig_Modded\Q WERT\rebuilt.QWERT[1].zip: CRC failed in blaaaa\tabup_horiz.png. The file is corrupt

OK that works. I can extract the .sdz from the .zip and then unzip the .sdz.

The skin pkg. for distribution/install is not working well for me with 1.0.6.3.

Thanks again!
