Just thought everyone should know that, without any hardware modification nor software/driver modification, with the new update for StreetDeck (1.0.9.8) there is no problems any more and it starts up fine. Both from hibernation and a cold boot, it has something to do with StreetDecks new USB management in the new update... try it out.

I'd like to amend my post that said that the problem has to do with the Audigy losing power before the pc hibernates. That's not the problem, because now my NX 2 stays powered until the pc hibernates, and gets power before the pc resumes, and the issue still remains.
It does the exact same thing for me as described above... it the Audigy stays stuck on mute until I close Streetdeck. Then within seconds after closing Streetdeck, it unmutes itself.
It would be really nice if someone at SD could figure this out.

I'm definitely still looking for a work-around, although I did order a Creative MP3+ today to do some comparison tests.
And what's the guy talking about in post #4 where he's saying it works fine with kx drivers? The Kxproject folks and users have reiterated a zillion times that there are no drivers for the audigy 2 NX. I wish there were, but their site clearly says there are none (of course the last time the site appears to have been updated was 2004).
Otherwise, I'm at a loss. I hope someone can figure this out.

All... here we go again. I can't even believe it, but now, I have to re-re-amend my post in #19. Why am I saying this? Because it definitely DOES have to do with the Audigy being powered down.
I ran a couple more tests today. No matter what, I always keep the NX powered until the pc is fully hibernated, and then make sure the NX is powered before resuming the pc. But as stated above, I am having the problem everyone else is with it not unmuting itself on resume if SD is running. So today, I decided to try hibernating the pc, but NEVER removing power from the NX (left the car running). Well guess what. It works fine and completely unmutes itself upon resume into SD, AS LONG AS it has remained powered since hibernation.
Problem is (that I assume we all have) I can't keep my NX powered when I'm not in the car.
So that's my latest finding.
