I have the latest SD and here is a simple thing or two that i would REALLY love to have.

1. Be able to move the "Browse Hard Drive" button (under the Music module) to the first page in that module so that you don't have to always go to the second page for it.
Why: Because i like to manually organize my music into folders since i download a lot of music and sorting it by artists can be sort of confusing, especially since different downloaded songs have the artists names written differently some times. I want for me, to have the Browse Hard drive option as my main method of searching for music, and it being on the second page stinks.

2. When using the "Browser Hard Drive" module to find music, have a button that allows you to add all files AND folders of the current folder your in to the queue
Why: a lot of times i want to play all the music in a certain folder, and that folder may contain some music files AND multiple subfolders with music files. Its a pain to have to go into each subfolder and add that music to the queue

As far as moving buttons, just create a new skin with the required button in the right place. There are guides here how to do it and its pretty simple

I tried to move the Browse Hard Drive button up, but i cannot seem to figure out how to do it. If i go to the CMusicStartModule and then select the SelectionList module, then it allows me to move the whole group of buttons as a whole, but it wont let me move the individual Browse Hard Drive button by itself. Any ideas??

Move the entire list down, then create a new button on top of the list. YOu can't change the list, but you can add a second button that will always be at the top of the list and show whatever module you want.

i recently opened up a thread to see if it was possible to change the color of the skin using a color code or a something like the color mapping interface similar to the one in the development software of streetdeck. If there could be something added to streetdeck to do this it would be great. I have copied and pasted my thread to help clarify what my situation is exactly

Adjustable skin color Question

The adjustable color changing feature is a good upgrade but i am unable to change the color to my wanting. I have an amber or orange interior and either i hit red or a redish brown when i slide the bar on top of it. Is there any way i can input my own color code somewhere to have it change to that color?

Similar to my wishes, but I need the playlist button most.
I would be glad to have either be able to define a gesture for that, or why not make the buttons narrower and put 2 columns of buttons in?

Same for me

But the problem isn't that you cannont choose the right color, because you be able to choose the hole spectrum of colors, but not the saturation.
So additional saturation slider and I think everybody can match it exactly to the dash color

I have to agree with the first poster...

The browse hard drive button was also my main way of playing my music. I like to organise my music myself with folders.. Having to browse by Artist/Album for me is a really bad way of doing it.

Before I upgraded, Browse Hard drive was easily accesable, and now being on the 2nd page is very very annoying. I dont really understand why this was moved, but oh well

Also, when I click Play all Files or Folders when I am in a certain folder on Browse Hard Drive, it adds my whole collection to the playlist, not the folder im in.. whats with that? It never did that in the older versions...

Not saying browse by Artist/Album Tag is a bad way of doing it for everyone, just for me and im sure some other people Browse Hard Drive/Folders iwas the preffered way of selecting albums and with these changes the Browse Hard Drive option is almost pointless

hate ID3 tags. After you have over a couple hundred artests it is unusable.

My id3 tags are a mess too. I think we should all take some time to fix all of our id3 tags.

I like the idea of it making it easier to customize the main home screen buttons.
