Idexing Pictures?

Is there a way to index pictures or something. I can view the videos I have on my hard drive. The pictures in the same drive dont show up in SD. I can see the folders but I can see any pictures. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an option or something I have turned off?

Do you have the correct path setup for pictures in the Media Paths?

What types of files are in your pictures folder and do you have the MIME type registered in windows as an image file?
