Nevermind, found it somewhat in the F.A.Q.. The Rhapsody WMAs play fine threw my WMP so they should play fine in streetdeck then as long as I refresh the licenses monthly.

how are you downloading the songs? are you using rhapsody to go? or are you just talking about purchased tracks from them?

Well I tried out the to go service just to see how the quality of the files were. I downloaded their 192K WMAs and then added the directory to the ones that WMP would use and all the track came up and played fine along with the ones from URGE's free trial. WMP treated them like the same file format which I assume they are. So if they play threw WMP they should play threw Streetdeck with the only difference between subscibed and purchased being that I have to refresh the licences monthly by logging into rhapsody the way you would if you downloaded the tracks to a portable playforsure mp3 player. Am I missing anything here?

have you tried transferring the files to a different computer and playing them there?

that's my scenario: i have a file server that my car pc syncs with. I know 'to go' let's you transfer to an mp3 player, just not sure if they do any special tricks to block from transferring to another PC. I'd doubt that, but would like to know for sure.

I have not tried it, but you authorize up to 3 computers to play your downloaded songs from per account. Login to your rhapsody software from your carPC internet connection and go to the "my account" tab. There you can authorize it to play your account song files. I see there is also an update licenses tab so it looks like you dont need to authorize each song when playing it after the monthly license has expired, it will do them all at once with that function (good news for someone without a permanent internet connection in the car).
