Yeah, I don't think it's possible at the moment...and it's another thing that needs to be fixed soon (although it's probably really low priority, given the other issues still outstanding)

I realize that SD and (especially) CF with navigation are not cheap, but you've spent $1200 on your computer so far, so how are those programs entirely out of your price range?

go for roadrunner.
sd looks nice but is not very useful in car if navigation is not working accurate (wants to u turn you on highways etc.) and all the promised modules (bluetooth etc.) are not available. with an open source implementation such as rr it takes a little more time to configure but you get it to work
spent my $119 for nothing...

Roadrunner was a great program and after spending months trying to get it right its still had many small annoying issues. Thats why I went to SD. I hate software issues, and trying to setup RR was the most frustrating thing for me. SD is so plug and play and that what I like. However, All the issues on this thread I am also having. Its just the name of the game really but what I dont understand is the first year or so when SD came out, the the support/updates were great! but this past year the support really sucks. GOC used to answer posts all the time but all you get now is a spokesperson that comes on and says "were workin on it". I have heavily considered switching to CF and havent ruled it out but instead I am going to keep waiting for the complete program that I paid for close to 2 years ago.

Well I in the end decided to go with CF. David always answers when you need help, and if he doesnt answer, someone else will. Plus CF is coming out with, I think, either 1.4 or 1.5 which adds features that only street deck had like gestures and what not, also support for xm and sirius and tons more. What sold me on CF is the multimonitor support. Diffrent screens in my setup had to do diffrent things. With SD nope.... Bluetooth is a dream on CF, although I had issues getting my phone to work (have a PPC 6700 with WM5). I think only thing that beats CF is the dual audio zones, which i read somewhere I think CF can do now too..... Mp3Car makes streetdeck and i think thats why its taking so long for developement, not only are they designing and adding features, they are also having to run thier store, and obviously the store is more important.

streetdeck and mp3car.com are 2 seperate companies... mp3car.com sells streetdeck software from the store.. but they are not the ones developing it

Not actually true. They are two companies but run by the same people. If you do a whois on the domains you will see Rob Wray runs both domains. The share the same admin contact and technical contacts.

Not entirely true vitaminR - they are still two separate companies.
Just like Innovative Technologies and Mp3Car are separate companies... http://www.innovateusa.com/
Rob may own all 3 domains, but they are all separate entities.

Well this company that makes StreetDeck is sure slow with the progress of the software. Maybe they have taken on to many other projects. If thats the case, I know the feeling.
