Allowing external app to stay active while vehicle in motion

Dear all,

I am using SD in Singapore, which unfortunately, is not on mappoint coverage. Hence i rely on Garmin's nRoute for navigation.

However, the only way i can use it is to exit SD first. Coz whenever SD detects that my vehicle is in motion, it will force itself to foreground.

is there anyway to change that behaviour?

regards

kao

Have you tried running it in testmode? That allows all modules to work when the vehicle is moving, so I would think it would also allow you to run streetdeck non-full screen

It's pretty easy...Just click with your right mouse key on the streetdeck icon that you use to run streetdeck and click properties. For the target, it probably has "C:\(Directory where Streetdeck was installed)\Streetdeck.exe"

Simply add -testmode after it so it looks like this:

"C:\(Directory where Streetdeck was installed)\Streetdeck.exe" -testmode

Hope this helps.
