car2pc and streetdeck

Hi i would love to be able to use my steering wheel controls on my 2001 saab 9-5 to control streetdeck ie volume and track changes , is this possible with my car and streetdeck , the car useing GM single wire and resistors if i remember right > thanks i am looking to purchace software and streedeck is top of my list so far , as none of the others seems to work on my new install carpc

use a program called girder and buy a usb uirt device. what this does is transfer the signal so that the computer can understand and you could be able to program any button for what ever you want.

I have fully finctional SWC in my 02 saab 9-5. I use Vellemans USB experiement card to connect the swc to the PC. You cannot disconnect the swc wires from the car because you will loose the horn. This makes resistance measuring impossible. The Vellemena K8055 (i think) has voltage measuring and that is OK. I even have a digitalmod for streetdeck with everything working.. let me know if you want help or more info..
