Thanks,

I've been working with their marketing guy to see if we can come up with an even better solution for carputers.

Not sure if you were following the Imon thread, but what I really love about it is, I drive with my hand on the stick most of the time (automatic, just habit), and having the buttons within reach without moving is great! You also "memorize" the location of the buttons in little or no time. It's like having a Griffin Powermate on steroids!

I have a media pc attached to the TV (networked to another pc that can also record tv). Great addition! And the great part of the ultrabay is it can use either it's own remote or an MCE remote!

Oh yeah, anyone need a griffin powermate?

Waiting patiently to see how this SD fiasco plays out...

That doesn't sound likely, can't see much that CF would want from SD to make them buy the company.

Flux media can't even write software without putting their name in huge letters across the center of the screen. If they had anything to do with this, they would have leaked the info just to show everyone "look at us and how BIG our.......uh......platform is!".

Whoever is behind this is a bit more professional than Flux.

Hate is such a strong word. I just don't like the interface.

By the way, I have this big screen TV for sale.....Great deal! Only $5K! (I was going to make the "Flux TV" but it was just going to be too much work. lol)

This has become down right childish..There is no excuse, we were told we would hear something and didn't, even if there is a NDA they could still say well there is a NDA we will have news soon. Fiber and Chuck, you guys let us down man regardless of the outcome leaving us out like this is just wrong.

yeah if they were my children they wouldn't be sitting for a month, let this be a lesson to business owners:

Don't speak till you have something to say, and when you do have something to say, hold your tongue, review it, and when you can stand by what comes out, mind your actions ot bind your words.

otherwise you are just a greeting card filled with words of hot air.

This has fallen below sad, it has settled into pathetic. No care for thier customers or community. Unless chuck is in jail there (or worse) there is nothing stopping him from posting a " hey guys sorry". Anyone who would enter into a contract (if this proves to be what happened) where they cannot respond IN ANY FASHION is just plain stupid.

It is bad business ethics, and unless someone pulls thier head out of thier...they will never get a dime out of me again. this has severly ****ed me off. Especially when you consider this thread was started over three weeks ago (i think) only after no response or activity for several weeks.

MP3car should take some resposibilty on ta product they are selling to the fact that if no support is given or response from the "team", post an annoucement and cancel the carrying of this product and its forum for SD. For as it stands right now, a product is being falsy advertised, and they should not stand behind it. I have only had SD for less than a year, and if I had just bought this product a couple weeks back only to find this out, I would be more ****ed than I am now.

Sorry for my ramblings, but I just can't believe that this has gone on so long and gone unaddressed (and no FiberOptics statement is not an addressment, it is simply a smokescreen to cover themselves so we don't focus crap at MP3)

Will you people wake up, get your @$$es of the couch, and provide a substantial response of formal apology from the SD team primarly the one who our (okay maybe just mine) venom is being spewed at.

Learn some ethics, and respect those around you that are supporting you, or soon your support will fall...

I absolutely hold mp3car responsible as well. They took on this product, they are the resellers of the product, you go to streetdeck it links you back over here so to me they both the same. My question is could any legal action be taken as far as refunds are concerned? Especially if they just drop SD and its customers in favor for CF? I have a couple friends who currently study law, I will mention to them to see what they say, problem is I wont see them for another week or 2.

Considering MP3CAR and Streetdeck are registered to the same address in Maryland, I would say they are one and the same. The information is very easy to find.
