Just a version that I think is much more relistic then all the "conspiracy theories" here
I'm not trying to butt heads here at all, cause all these are is just what you said "conspiracy theories" , but you honestly think that your example is much more realistic than what others have mentioned?

Once again, who says that any contracts existed... SD could have been an LLC with 3 people working there. Trust me it happens alot and it happened to me... It all starts with friendship, trust and huge plans until its time to divide profits and negotiate which percentages go into expansion and which into the wallets..

Ok please answer these:
1) If a company is being bought out or is under NDA does that mean they stop customer service?
2) Who wants to buy a company that has a terrible reputation and is loosing customers left and right?
3)Y since mp3car started selling CF I have not seen one single bug get resolved or at least a solution suggested by an mp3car or SD employee?
and many many more i.e did microsoft buy "wincustomize.com" to develop "aero" for vista? or do mp3car developers have more expertise then ppl that write drivers for Intell, or even what special patent, know-how or market share does SD have to be worth buying?

Just one example http://www.onev.com/products/streetdeck.html right from the site. Don't you think that if there was some sort of issue happening that fellow partners would be aware as to not help promote the sinking ship. It is there credibility on the line as well.
I'm done with this thread, I feel like i'm justifying a discussion that I had for the last 30somethin pages and everytime someone new pops in with their new idea of speculation the wheel starts again and we go done the same road. I'll wait to get a more defined answer. thanks for the non-new insight.

New pops in? Now thats just an insult! I have followed this post since page 1 and simply I dont post until i really have something to say. I'm not proving anything to you, i could care less what you think about my opinion! I was hoping that if I was right that maybe one of the moderators that quit for a reason that still doesnt get disclosed or the people that theoretically left mp3car or SD and are watching these forums would speak up!

I guess that if you like SD the way it was when you bought it, then keep using it. If you want better support, you could try Centrafuse- but that's your choice. I've been using CF for a couple months and am extremely pleased with the support.

I have been using CF and the beauty is that I dont need support for it, everything just works. But its like an endless argument between iphone and blackberry fans... Features vs. beauty and and ease of use... I dont need weather, dont need bluetooth etc... Make my music, videos and navigation work well; fix my volume button in vista and im a happy camper!

Well, I think we can safely say, after this thread, that most likely anyone involved in the development of SD and it's marketing has either left the company long ago, or is not worth it's @$$.....

Which moderators are you talking about? Jan? She is still here...doesn't work for the store/company anymore...

This is the reason Im happy with SD. Does everything I need it to...I could care less about some of the new features that were promised. Don't care about bluetooth although it would be cool to have...I don't care about weather...movie times...traffic...I don't have internet in my car so it's sort of a non issue. I know that somewhere on page 8 or so I said that I wanted traffic and bluetooth...but I really don't...I change my mind easily...

I don't think she is a moderator anymore. She is still a user of a carpc and is now using CF as her front end. so point is not made.

No point was intended. Thanks genius, I know that she uses CF as her front end and that she is still a car pc user. Especially for you I will make a point - she still helps ppl out just like she used to, but she doesnt want to be affiliated with mp3car anymore, get it? Oh and she still is the moderator by the way
