Originally it was going in their main software and sell for around $180. At least that is what their people told me. Yeah, I've been following it pretty closely.
The Intel bike wouldn't be posted in a business section YESTERDAY if everything fell apart. Timing and new information was the issue, not the articles themselves.
No "stress" on the Aptera?
Edit: I checked, and it hasn't been 6 months for me. I officially started following (and talking to) One Voice people 5 months and 24 days ago (October 31st). Think I should be more accurate in my posts.
That was a good catch. Someone would have caught that and called you out on your validation of creditworthiness. Phew!

I just read through my emails from one voice. Thems some sneaky people. They let me assume the streetdeck plugin was going to be a part of the Communicator 3.0 software. But they never said one way or the other. Just when I asked about MCC 3.0, they answered all the questions I had, but never officially put the 2 together by saying yes or no to the inclusion of SD. lol
Thats how you handle a situation like this!

This is an auto responder email i got when i put in a request for an SD registration code on March 23
**********We are working on a gigantic project and will not be able to reply until Tuesday morning (March 25th). Thanks a lot for taking the time to write mp3car.com. We will talk to you early next week. **********
I wonder what would Intel or Microsoft think if they got a response like that after sending an email for more info on acquiring SD :0
The way I interpret this email is " im going to my grandma's house for the weekend, thanks for sending me your money, you'll get my product at my earliest convenience" lol
Even the wording "gigantic project" is so unprofessional...
Just a proof that SD is a joke of a company when the sales, customer service, and technical support are done by a tiny group of ppl. Who would want to buy that?

Not all small businesses are "jokes".
We do what we can, and everything started small. Bill Gates worked out of a motel in the beginning

I'll agree this has all been sketchy business at best, but looking at SD in a bigger picture I am still optimistic. Service and support have been dismal. However, might I suggest everyone take a look at past youtube videos of SD and the prototypes of features "on the horizon." Many of those videos were from a year ago or from earlier...apparently much of the code shown was functioning in those videos, so I'm optimistically thinking that maybe it really is finally coming soon. It is not hard for me to believe, especially given the release of CF 2.0, that the small SD team is scrounging to get SD 2.0 done and neglecting the forums in order to accomplish that goal. YES, this is still extremely poor service, but just thinking out loud...does it make sense to continue working on SD 1.0 and fixing those bugs if 2.0 is nearly complete? Obviously, if that is the case, we would expect a free upgrade, or at least a very cheap upgrade, or even a free upgrade with the option to pay extra to unlock all the features of 2.0. Once again, please give us some communication SD!!!! FiberOptic, can you at least tell us that there is potentially GOOD or BAD news forthcoming? Just a one-liner, that's all we need/expect. We all know mp3car and SD are comprised of a very small team, and it is not a huge corporation. I understand there must be a lot on your plate right now.

And here's another way of expressing my sentiments...(if you're familiar with the movie Cool Hand Luke or the song Civil War by Guns N Roses):
"What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it. And I don't like it any more than you men."

I agree! I'm a huge disbeliever in any NDA's or acquisition theories, although i respect each personal opinion in this thread. I simply hope that this will play out like Intel and AMD situation played out once... Intel was being taunted by AMD and their fans for almost a year while quietly working.

I'm finding that without focusing on the PROBLEMS of Streetdeck, I'm finding more and more neat stuff! Moved my mic to above my visor and now voice commands work so much better. Reloaded the internet radio (yahoo jukebox) and it sounds damned good to me. Now if I could just find someone that would be willing to "steal" RR's weather skin and make a digimon for me (I don't like code.....give me something mechanical in pieces and I can put it together blindfolded, but code.....nope, not gonna happen), heck, I wouldn't care if SD made it any further. lol
Also found some interesting things I talked about in another thread you started. Should have listened to you in the first place there. lol
Looking forward to trying out the HQCT with SD. Where is my package Chris?!
