No display on resume in SD
Alright, well ever since I went back to a previous restore point after installing CF every other time I come out of hibernation all I get is a black screen on the display. If I close SD I can hibernate and resume multiple times no problem. As soon as I run SD then hibernate all I get is the black screen every other time. Anyone have any ideas / ever have this problem?

I had that problem at one point (never had CF installed though), though I was seeing it coming out of Standby (same issue I'm sure). I don't think I was able to resolve it other than by restoring backup copies of the Streetdeck configuration files (which I started making since SD is unstable and often corrupts its own config files).

I just ran into the problem again, a couple of days after installing the Centrafuse 2.0 RC2 demo.
It looks like I've been able to fix it by reverting to my backed-up options.sdo file in the e:\streetdeck directory.
If you don't have a backup of that file, you can probably fix the problem by just renaming that file while SD is exited. Then when you launch SD, you'll have to go through all of the options. But I remember when I tried that before, I had some trouble getting certain things set up again... but that was probably just me.
I viewed a comparison of my "bad" and "good" options.sdo files, but they are binary with mostly unreadable characters, so I can't tell what setting is the problem.
I think anyone running SD should backup at least the SD directory once in a while, since it is probably destined to get corrupted.

Thanks John I'll have to do that. Somehow as soon as I wrote the post SD stop acting up?? I don't get it. Maybe it was just that time of the month and it was acting up again. But I'll make a copy of the directory, so next time i can put her in her place.

That same file was also causing the navigation parameter error listed in another thread. I submitted a bad and good .sdo file, so when the boys decide to quit whoring around, maybe they can look at them.

No, not just video - any module.
I remember the last time it happened, if Radio was the last thing playing then it would continue to play with the blank screen. But Music would not.
It looks like the options.sdo file is not the only file though, because I just ran into the problem again. If the problem keeps happening, try also reverting to the older config.xml file. I think the last time I maybe ended up replacing them both to get it working... but it's a pain to test because it doesn't happen every time, and it doesn't happen just by going to standby and resuming - it seems that the car has to be off for a while as well.

Was the same way for me too. If I'd run into the store or leave it for a little while it was fine. But for long periods of time it would always happen.

I had the same problem recently but I hadn't fully restarted in a while. I mainly go into hibernate mode. After a reboot the problem went away...damn memory leaks!!!! *Shakes fist at sky*

Now I'm thinking that maybe the condition of the options.sdo / config.xml files are not necessarily related to the hang. Sometimes it works for me, and sometimes it doesn't. But almost always after letting the car sit for 3-4 hours it will fail.
I set the Streetdeck Tray App to kill SD after 30 seconds of being hung (the minimum), and that usually kills it after about a minute.
Centrafuse 2.0 can't come soon enough.
