No Sound from XM Direct

OK, so I have been listening to music on my hard drive through Street Deck for many months and all is well.

I finally signed up for the XM subscription to use the XM Direct and MP3Car USB interface I purchased some time ago. The XM direct gets all the stations through Street Deck, but there is no sound. The fake spectrum anyizer is bouncing away but no sound.
I went to the sat radio setup and all seems to correct. If I plug the output from the XM Direct straight in to the Aux port (bypassing the computer) on the head unit it works fine. Any thoughts?

One other odd thing that happens. After I try to go to XM, i then go back to music from the hard drive there is no sound. I need to go into windows control panel, sound setting and un-mute the sound card output. Just doing the mute in Street Deck won't do it.

Thanks for any help

Did I stump you guy's?

Not even a single thought?

I have been listening to the XM Direct for several days by plugging the RCA outputs directly to the head unit but still controlling the stations through StreeetDeck. The control side works fine, just no sound.

Is the USB for control of the stations only?
Is the audio supposed to come into the PC via USB too? If not, that would explain it.

Help please.

Don't know SD... but.. did you check the windows controls for muted line-in or mic-in? You don't say where you plugged in XMD to PC.

No lines are muted. All volumes are at max.

XM direct is plugged into PC via MP3Car USB adapter.

I have the same setup, but I think my usbs control the sound setup only and I have the audio going into my sound blaster which controls my sound.
Heres my wiring diagram. http://www.team-pd.net/viet/modules....geViewsIndex=1
