Weather 2.0...maybe
Try this...I am on my laptop without GPS and had to test with a hardcoded zip code...
The fix for this was updating the URL for the XML file.

It is current, but it only wants to download YOUR weather. Need to fix that zipcode thing. In other words, take the original file and only make the url change, nothing else.

I'll check out the google POI mod next...I need dinner first! Still surprised that nobody has worked on any of this yet. Actually maybe I'm not surprised...considering the limbo SD has been in for these last few months.

Be sure to send your virtual earth too! Also, delete any post that has bad stuff. I am removing the digital mods from my post as you fix them. We don't want multiple crap out there.

Dan what version of SD are you on (and is there a link for it anywhere still)? I forget which version I am on right now but I know I am not current (I was going to update but there was a slew of posts of issues and my setup was running very stable so I decided to wait it out).
froalskiner just curious are you a member over at g35driver?

Unless you are running 1.0.9.8, don't upgrade yet.
