I have Mappoint 2004 and I have Streets and Trips 2006. I am using the map data from ST for MP. Can I use the StreetDeck 2006 data by copying it over into the MP directory? (Was it downloaded with the trial?)

The Trial does not include navigation. The only legal way to use navigation in StreetDeck at this point is to install Mappoint 2004.

Definitely the prettiest and slickest interface I've seen yet. Now if I can get all the attachments to work, they have my $$.

What GPS hardware are you including with the developer bundle?
I was considering getting a BU353 as it is Sirf Star III. Will the supplied GPS have similar capabilities, or will there be a cheaper option without the GPS puck?

Streetdeckers,
I can't wait to order a software only copy, but I was wondering: Is there a way to register the trial version to use XM and other plugins within the 15 min/ 30 day time limits?
Also, is anyone else having performance issues? I've got an EPIA MII 1.2 w/ 512 MB ram & 160GB HD, with an Audigy NX2 USB sound card. I've got the refresh raqte set to 15fps (800x600) on a xenarc 7", and yet still have trouble playing MP3's (even the 128K ones).
There's probably a thread in here somewhere that adresses performance tweaks...

It should run fine on an MII at 15 fps.
XM and DVD can not be used in the trial version. XM looks largly like the mp3 screen, but shows stations instead and the DVD is largely like the video player.

I have been running SD on a MII 10000 512 mb ram since dec and never had the mp3 problem.

Finally! Tested it out. Very intutive, nice GUI, although it would not run unless i upgraded to Windows Media PLayer 10. I was sad to see that such a nice piece of software is using WMP for audio. WMP sounds like
This is the reason i scrapped frodoplayer also.
Also was quite laggy I thought for a 1.8 CPU and 512 RAM I ran it on

Hmm, not at all laggy on my 1.73GHz with 512MB. Runs great and sounds great to me.
