Attempting to run the demo
So last week I watched the demo video of streetdeck for the first time and was very impressed, hadn't realized the level of features you had in it. I was very tempted to buy it during the promotional $150 price period, but I hadn't gotten my current carPC finished just yet and wanted to at least try it out first. So today I finally got the chance to try it, I installed it, and opened up to the config wizard... I didnt care about the rear view cam, radio, mic, etc, so I was just mindlessly clicking NEXT every time, and before I knew it I was at the keypad for entering the registration code. Of course, on the screen BEFORE that was where it told me to click cancel if I wanted to use the demo, but I didnt stop to read it. So I clicked cancel on the registration key entry page, and it froze, had to kill the process and start it again.
When I started it again, it went back to page 1/2 for the registration entry, where it said to cancel if I wanted to use the demo, so I clicked cancel there this time, and it exited with a message saying the demo had expired and I needed to buy it to continue using. Uninstall/reinstall didn't change anything, as I expected. Today is the first time I've installed the demo, ever.
Do I now need to format the hard drive and reinstall windows and everything just to run the demo? (I know that wouldn't be the honest thing to do if the demo had expired on me for real, but I never even got to use it)
