Anyone else experiencing these problems?

I select the Navigation as the startup but the next time I startup it just goes to the main menu. I've changed the option in startup options, saved settings to hard disk, closed SD and restarted and it goes to the main menu. I'll go into the navigation and shut the truck off and go into standby, wait a minute and when resuming from standby it still goes to the main menu.

Also, the zoom level on the navigation screen doesn't stay. If I change out to another module (XM or MP3) and come back to navigation the zoom level goes back to 3 when I previously set it to 8. If I set it to a higher number it will remain, weird.

Anyways, just wanted to see if I was alone here.

Thanks,

Troy

The navigation startup problem appears to be a bug. It will be fixed.

The zoom probably won't stay because it is set to autozoom.

AutoZoom works as follows:
  • If you have a route created and you are close to a turn, it will zoom in real close.
  • If your speed is above the high threshold, it will zoom out far, if your speed is below the low threshold, it will zoom in close.
  • If you change the zoom at all while in fullscreen navigation, it will completely disable all auto zooming, until you exit the module and come back.
  • You can turn autozooming on and off and change how auto zooming works in the navigation settings.

Thanks GOC. I did understand how the Autozoom worked while in a route but did not think it came into play while just having it on. Just for clarification, even if you are not in a route, will it still autozoom based on speed?

Yes, the speed based autozoom is always on if the option in navigation settings is set.
