Which DirectX for SD

Hello

I yust have some simple question about DirectX needed for working SD.
I know that about MB and hardware was allready wroted some threads, but I yust can't find direct answer.
I saw in MP3Car store under software/SD/description, following:

To Use StreetDeck you need:

Windows XP Operating System
Gigahertz-class Intel-compatible x86 processor
512 Megabytes memory
2 Gigabytes of free disk space
DirectX 7-compatible 3D graphics adapter
DVD optical drive (for installation)
Touch screen highly recommended (Tablet PC, Ultra-Mobile PC or VGA touch panel)

And I also saw on thread: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/streetdeck-f-q/68026-streetdeck-software-dependancies-download-links.html
that StreetDeck requires to work properly Microsoft DirectX9.

I'm now buying MB for my firs car PC. I will probably buy Mini ITX ViaEpia EN12000EG which support yust DirectX7.0 and Direct 3D (I get this data from Via).
I'm a little confused if SD will properly work on that board.

Can somebody tell me correct minimum requirements about DirectX for SD. Is that MB suitable for smooth working SD?

i had that board and SD worked fine on it. it was a little choppy but ran smooth for the most part.

I now have a different board running directx9 and its very smooth.

but both will work fine

Streetdeck requires the directX 9 runtimes, however, it doesn't use anything that requires more hardware support then in DirectX 7. This means all DirectX 7 compatible hardware should work fine in StreetDeck if you install DirectX 9.

DirectX 10 future support in SD? I've heard it will be backward compatible. But the new hardware will require DirectX 10.

The new API will be composed of new and faster dynamic link libraries (DLLs) and will run much faster.
