Sound not working Right

I have a orginal Infill that I just loaded with SD. Everthing is working great except the sound is not coming out of all the speakers. I get stereo sound but I can not get it to come out of the rear speakers or the sub. When I am using the infillstation software this works. I have checked the settings in windows that is on 5.1 sound under speaker properties and vinly deck is also on 6 channel. It must be a driver issues. Any help for the Great SD Mods would be great.

Thanks
MtryDoc

You need to tell us which motherboard and sound card you're using.
But what worked for me was to go to the sound properties, advanced settings, change the view to recorder, view the advanced properties for the line in/rear speakers, and enable the Magic5.1 setting. This will enable your rear speakers. Sorry if I rushed through it, it's explained on one of my other threads.

Here's the full writeup from the other thread. It's a roundabout way of doing it, but still gives the same result. Just enable Magic5.1.

Start > Control Panel > Sounds And Audio Devices > Audio tab > Volume under the mic section > Options > Properties > Playback > checked Subwoofer and Rear Output boxes > OK

And this will now bring you to the volume window where it now displays the volume for the subwoofer and rear output. And there's also an Advanced button under Rear Output, if you click on it, it gives you 2 options.
1. Magic5.1 Enable
2. Mix Surround To Front
