Can any camera work for rearview camera?

A lot of the cameras I see are HUGE. I want one that is smaller that I can mount in the body of my car. Does SD work with any USB camera?

ANY directshow compatible camera should work. How its connected doesn't matter as long as it has a directshow driver.
