Infill T3 Questions (more)

My SD radio module does not work after the machine hibernates. The only way to get it to work is to close SD; however the systray app restarts SD, usually more than once. This in turn causes me to answer some Com port error messages and close all but one of the open SD apps. It would be nice to have the option to disable the SD systray app so I can close SD at will.

I also noticed that I don't have a lot of audio funtionality in SD. It would be nice to have front and rear levels as well as sub control. No matter how I tweak the EQ, I can't get the same sound quality I get out of other apps.

StreetDeck sometimes can allow multiple instances to come up. This is fixed in 1.0.5.5 and the cause of your COM port and restarting issues. You can disable the tray app by renaming SDTrayApp.exe to something else.

For now just hit stop and play and your radio should work after resuming. This is fixed in 1.0.5.5.

Fader and balance controls were also added in 1.0.5.5.

I just saw this myself tonight after fixing my hibernation problem. Looking forward to the new release, and congratulations on the Intel demo.

THis relates to my earlier post that has gone unanswered:

If we do get fader control then how does that work if the "Real" right and left outputs have no output?

Thanks for the replies. Can't wait to try out some of the new features. Now if I could just polish my PS skills, I might create a skin for my Z.

If you don't have rear output, you just have to startup the Vinyl Deck program in windows and set it to 6 speaker output rather then 2. The fader controls in StreetDeck will simply provide a skinned interface for this.
