Streetdeck 1.0.5.8 Feedback

I installed the latest 1.0.5.8 version yesterday. I like the new splash screen but the first startup took a long time and I was starting to get worried! However once it loaded the program seems to be running considerably faster on my SP13000! Subsequent loads are much faster than the first one as well *whew*.

Thanks for a greate update to a great program!!!

Steve

This is expected. The first load has to rebuild the texture cache when updating the skin. This will take 30 or so seconds and only happen once. Loads after the texture cache is built should only take a few seconds.

I love the new splash screen... This is going to be awesome for me. I hate how dark my car is in the mornings and then when streetdeck starts to load the old splash screen was so bright and white... it hurt my eyes... Good addition!!!!

I really love the update. thanks chuck for keeping the good work. are you planning on adding an option on dvd settings or whatever to play dvd files from a local drive. also is it normal cpu being used 75% and up buy streetdeck. this is why it crashes one me sometimes.

If you copy your dvd to the videos folder it will play in streetdeck.

Chuck what about subtitles for the movies. It works with WMP10 if you have the subtitle file in the same directory as the movie and if their names are the same. Can we hope for SD to show subtitles in one of the future updates?
