New To Streetdeck - Navigation

Hi all,

I'm new to the whole idea of Streetdeck. It looks great from what I can see. I have a question about navigation though... I live in Australia, and from what I gather you need MS Streets and Trips installed for Streetdeck to work. Unfortunately, MS doesn't make a version for Australia

Infact, as far as I am aware, there is only one company that makes laptop navigation software for Australia and that is Travroute (CoPilot) (www.travroute.com.au). Is there any way of getting Streetdeck to work with CoPilot and it's navigation features? Has anyone who lives in Australia found a navigation solution that works with Streetdeck?

Currently, StreetDeck only supports North America. The next implementation will be Europe. After that, I'm not sure of the plan.

I don't believe you can get another navigation program to work with StreetDeck as there's a good deal of stuff that's been customized. Unless someone else were to write a Digital Mod for it, I'm not sure that it can be done.

Only option for now is to use external program and put a shortcut into streetdeck.

....my experience with CoPilot is that it is very difficult to switch FROM CoPilot back to another application when CoPilot is selected...it occupies the full screen and was not friendly to ALT-TAB switching between it and other applications, as I remember (CoPilot Laptop ver. 7 or 8).
