New Forum Title Graphic
Who ever did it should be shot - it looks awfull... the fonts wrong, there is a big grey bar at the bottom on the animated half and not the rest, the blue under the animated text is diffrent and streaky.... the blue under the mp3car logo & the pic of the voom case is diffrent again as is the later right hand side ( as in 4 diffrent shades ).
I'll let you decide if I'm right or wrong. Plus I'm not sure about the 'help support the forums' text either.... we've been over this one before though.

That seems a bit strongly worded for the message.
I find it distracting and not appealing.

I personally dont like it either. So that's why I added it to my adblocker software like all the google ads that used to be here. I dont see any more of those. Are they still here somewhere?

Also I noticed when I got the image link the voom case image is a PNG file, which should not produce those wacky transparancy things. That is the whole point of a png. I think a little time in photoshop will clear it up, but not there yet.

you never should have gotten those if you were logged in...if you were getting them and you were logged in we need to know.
regarding the image at the top...I'll let Rob (Fiberoptic) chime in since he did it.

It's not that bad in FF. Another reason to switch. Ironically when I switched to IE for the screenshot, there were ads but 1 of them was for FireFox.
In the IE one you can clearly see what ccs was saying. In FF, only the images on the right look a little off. I am sure a couple minutes in photoshop with the eraser on a low flow level will fix that.
IE:

I'm indifferent to the ad.
I miss the link to the wiki, though.,

2k1toaster - it looks like you're seeing ads in IE because you're not logged in.
Once you log in those ads should go away.

Well yes, but I don't use IE. I have all cookies blocked, and disabled for IE, so if I login, it will log me out next screen. I use FF, and there when they were first introduced I saw them while logged in. So seconds later and a few clicks, they were blocked. So I have never seen them again in FF and I didnt know if it was the blocking or me being logged in. But there was a time, maybe brief where everybody saw them. I am sure it is documented in MT somewhere.

yeah - when the mod is installed it can't be installed and immediately be invisible to everyone...have to install it, then disable it, change the settings, then reenable the ads.
to anyone else - if you're seeing the ads while logged in, please let me know!

This thread is for the discussion of the top banner, not the google adsense adverts. I'm sure there is a thread already for that.
