No StreetDeck support
No PCI/PCMCIA Slots
No internal optical drive

The following upgrades might be available:
HD upgrades

Install Windows and Windows updates
Add option for CD player w/ enclosure (~25$)
90 day warranty w/ upgrade to 1yr 2yr 3 year

No Streetdeck support meaning you can install the software but if any problems arise tuff... Isn't that the policy on streetdeck already unless you buy it preinstalled with hardware.

Seems like a good deal for the starter outer....

The video drivers on this board are not compatable with StreetDeck at this time. That's why it's not supported.

We are currently working on a solution for it, but at this time it's not avaliable.

I would think that mp3cars best interests would be to sell hardware that worked with streetdeck. But if theres good profit in this anyone I am sure people not willing to pay the money for streetdeck will buy it.

I would be more interested in the MB, CPU and RAM. That is a nice small MB with USB 2.0 and is a reasonable price.

But I already have all that (other than the usb 2.0)

Ah, embrace the power of the hamster.... that would be several architecture generations of improvement for me in addition to about a 4 times improvement in clock speed

While I can understand where you're coming from, I'd like to add that we don't want to limit our customer base to product that ONLY runs on StreetDeck. If they could have a much less expensive solution to their CarPC, I feel it's our job to provide that as an option to them, StreetDeck support or not. There's no reason we should limit our users to StreetDeck. Competition makes for a healthy market and better products. Of course, we would rather our customers purchase StreetDeck and a StreetDeck compatable system, but providing other options is also (I feel) necessary.

i'd be hesitant to buy one only because of the 1.3 celly... i mean thats gonna run about the same speed as a m10000 in real world situations.

Not an accurate comparison. more like a PIII 600 to the m10000.

It is not a direct compare of clock speed due to the different architecture.

This board 'appears' to be way faster than c7 1.5 GHz boards. this is subjective until running testing programs though.

Here's a better picture from the store listing:

IF I was in the market for a mini ITX car PC, I would absolutely buy this package. Good value for the money vs. build it yourself M10000 plus 800 X 480.

Have you considered bundling this with an Opus power supply and Lilli screen package?
