I already had webmaster@mp3car.com whitelisted, so I guess I'll wait and see what is up with 0spam.
BTW, I didn't know Acura spun off a new brand with an extra C in it...

Hmmm, I'll have to check my email settings. It's funny though that the first email address I registered with I didn't even get the email to confirm my registration, that was att.net. I kept trying to re-send it to myself but I never received it, even after I turned off all spam manager options. I ended up switching over to my sbcglobal mail and then I finally got the emails. Now I'm not getting notifications.

I could try to work with msn support again (paying customer), but it sounds like the real trick is for admin here to work on getting off of that 0spam fusionzero site's blacklist, as appearantly different servers are referencing it different ways. But that thing about getting confirmations but no notifications is weird. I deleted my notifications but I think they both came from webmaster @mp3car.com.

Looks as if my worries are ended. I get mail at my msn account again.
EDIT: I was wrong, I forgot I forwarded email around, I suppose I won't know if this problem gets fixed until someone else reports it now.

Over the past 3 days we have gotten 1092 bounce backs from msn / hotmail servers. I wonder if someone else in our class C was spamming. I have submitted a ticket to wiresix (our hosting company)

I suppose I'm done barking up that tree, the best I can get from him is
Quote:
to resolve this, I would suggest that you contact the domain administrator and submit a request form to allow the site to send e-mails to Hotmail and MSN accounts. Please contact the administrator and then provide this link to be filled up: https://support.msn.com/eform.aspx?p...sbl&ct=eformts, after the form has been submitted, you should be able to receive e-mails normally once the domain has been re-enabled.
I'm sure you have this though, I think there's a link to it in the bounce-backs.

We have applied to join their JMRP.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Windows Live Hotmail Domain Support. My name is Sandra.
Your IP 207.210.89.83 was blocked by MSN Hotmail because the vast majority of all the email that you send to me has been judged to be spam by MSN Hotmail's internal filtering system. We have conducted an investigation into the emails originating from your IP space and we have implemented a fix for your deliverability problem. This fix may take up to 48 to fully replicate through our system.
I hope that the information that I have provided to you has been helpful. You may also be able to find additional information on common delivery questions at the Hotmail Postmaster Site found at: http://postmaster.msn.com/ <http://postmaster.msn.com/> . I would like to highlight some key areas which I believe are appropriate to your company.
Hotmail has created the Smart Network Data Services program. This is a service that helps legitimate email senders work with their customers and partners to reduce spam originating from their IP. http://postmaster.msn.com/snds/ <http://postmaster.msn.com/snds/> . This program allows a sender to monitor the 'health' of their IPs.
Monitor user complaints. Hotmail also has a sender complaint feedback loop program Junk Email Reporting Program (JMRP). Enrollment in this, free of charge, program will benefit you as a sender as it will keep your e-mail lists updated and populated with interested MSN Hotmail Customers. Participation in this program will remove those MSN Hotmail Customers who do not want to receive e-mails from your company. If you are interested in joining this program please visit Http://support.msn.com/eform.aspx?pr...ail&ct=eformts <http://support.msn.com/eform.aspx?productKey=edfsjmrpp&page=support_h ome_options_form_byemail&ct=eformts> .
While using the SNDS tool, enrollment in the JMRP or having your IPs registered with Sender ID will not allow emails from your mail servers to bypass our filters, these are in place to help legitimate companies deliver their emails to Hotmail Customers.
SenderScore Certified Mail Program. Many legitimate mailers and marketers have qualified and joined this "white listing" program to improve mail deliverability and decrease email from being filtered to the Junk E-mail Folder. Sender Score is a third party program, administered by Return Path. Sender Score ( www.senderscorecertified.com <http://www.senderscorecertified.com/> ) is the only White Listing service to which we subscribe.
The troubleshooting steps in this email are recommendations only. Microsoft makes no guarantees that following these steps will guarantee deliverability to MSN, Hotmail, or Live.com customers.
Thank you,
Sandra

Hotmail also has this thing called SNDS. It looks as though we were kicked off at the end of the day on June 19th.

It happened again
Only this time it's not with hotmail (I'm back to using hotmail again for now), but my email provider provided me with some more specific information for you:
Quote:
The issue you reported to Network Solutions on 8/13/2008 01:55:43 AM and assigned Service Request has been completed and closed.
We apologize for the problems that you experienced with your E-Mail service at Network Solutions. We have tested the issues that affected your ability to reliably use the E-Mail service. You reported that you were having difficulty receiving certain email messages with your email account. After testing your email, we have verified that your mailbox is now currently working properly; email messages are being sent and received normally and are currently able to access the mail box from multiple locations, using the email login you provided. If the issue you indicated has not been resolved, please attempt to access the mail box from a different location or computer. You may also use a different browser. We recommend you clear the cache or temporary memory of your current browser as well. The mail boxes are all active and have also been refreshed to correct any possible out of synch conditions. However, we also tested the sender IP address you provided and verified there is an ongoing issue originating from that address. please check the results below. We are not able to correct the issue since we are not associated with
IP-Information
...
Reverse DNS (PTR) exists and claims to be: www01.atl.mp3car.com
Forward DNS for www01.atl.mp3car.com is: 207.210.89.83
DNS is consistent.
The sender IP address 207.210.89.83 appears to be blacklisted from :
http://www.uceprotect.net/en/rblchec...=207.210.89.83
UCEPROTECT-Level3
Reputation of ASN 3595 | GNAXNET-AS - Global Net Access, LLC
Damn my bad luck.

What means listed at UCEPROTECT-Level 3?
GAME OVER. We and our users have seen enough spam and heared all possible excusions why some lazy providers think to be not responsible for what their customers are doing.
We are not just another blacklist. We really know better. Massive spam is always a problem tolerated by the provider.
We have very bad news for you: It is not you, it is your complete provider which got listed.
Your IP 207.210.89.83 was NOT part of a spamrun, but your provider seems to believe that spam is what the internet was made for.
By tolerating your provider doesn't care about spammers you are also supporting the global spam.
If all people would boycott spammerhaevens, spam-friendly providers wouldn't even exist.
Ouch, and I'm not talking about the bad grammar.

Unfortunately UCE-Protect is an extortion service and commonly do this and blacklist an entire network in order to force that network to pay to be unlisted. We'll do everything we can to be unlisted from UCEProtect but we will not, under any circumstances, pay to be removed from their list.
Our recomendation is that you contact your ISP and instruct them not to use UCEProtect as it isn't a spam protection service but an extortion service that blindly blacklists very very large networks.
