Animated 3d logo

I'm not a fan about the big animated logo with the spotlight bouncing back and forth. It's terribly distracting.

Firefox users w/ Adblock installed, you can selectively remove this banner by right-clicking and selecting 'Adblock image'. The default that comes up is that specific animated gif itself, nothing else should be affected.

The animated logo has been dumped. The file is now 8.27 KB...as we have time we will work on better graphics.

The non-animated version looks great, thanks! Also, less likely to induce an epileptic seizure.

I have to agree with Enforcer, the image looks good. However, it fails miserably at graphicly complementing the forum. The fact that its an add doesn't bother me at all (the store does financially support the forum).

Well, maybe I don't have the same developed fashion sense Enforcer does, and maybe my wardrobe isn't painstakingly color coordinated with all the latest fashions and whatnot, I'm just of the opinion that the banner looks clean and nice.

No, I don't have designer purses and stuff like some folks on here, I'm just a guy with simple likes and dislikes, and constantly having the reptile part of my brain triggered by motion in the corner of my vision by the old flashing banner got old fast.

I agree with enforcer as well, the graphic doesn't even use the mp3car.com logo. And the whole mp3carstore.com confusion will actually hurt the point of the ad anyway.

Once signed in, the ad there (that's been there for a while) looks wierd too, it would help make it look more integrated if there wasn't a hard edge on the side of the pics. move them in a little, so that there is a completely transparent edge. It will look like the whole top banner is one image.

It's also incorrect. It says under $1000, on sale $949.99, but clicking on the ad brings you to a page where the price is

EDIT: and you still haven't changed the Accura on your profile. According to acura.com and the back of your car, there's only one c. Unless you are just trying to be cool and spell it all crazy...

MonkeyR, are looking at the same image we are?

The current image has no advertising it is just the MP3car.com logo with store after it on a blackground on the left and the old two tone blue lines on the right.

That was a bad spelling mistake. I also changed cars. The Acura died.

I see both:

The first banner is the one you were talking about. Looks better than the animated one for sure, the second banner is the one I see when I sign in to the forum. That's the one I was talking about.
