Lightbulb mini projects sub-forum in software development forum

Hiya

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to have a sub forum in software development where small projects could have 1 post per app to make it easier to find if there is an little app out their to do a particular job or to make sure if you have a little app ppl might find useful it doesn't get swallowed up in the rest of the threads

You must have read my mind, I was just thinking about coming here and suggesting that

A dedicated forum for code snippets to be used as reference/ad-hoc in other applications will be very useful

We're obviously on the same wave length today, I was thinking the same thing about code-snippets but thought I'd only ask for one thing at a time!

i think this is a good idea.. there is nothing worse then someone posted updates on a funished app every other day.. thread flooding. I think they should make a thread and edit the first post with updates.. but this is also a good idea

well, with as little traffic as the software forum gets i can't see the need for yet another subforum within.

But you could say that about any of the subforums within then, it's not a request because of heavy traffic, the suggestion was so it is easier to browse free software releases
