I'm not opposed to them as long as they are less than 100px tall. In fact, that'd be kinda cool in my opinion

IMHO the problem is that from what i've seen other places, is that people tend to get out of hand with sig pics.
In general I think they add unnecessary clutter and don't enhance the forum in any way, and as a matter of fact, I think they would do just the opposite they make browsing the site from a carpc/pda nearly impossible, both from a bandwidth as well as display point of view. Even with size constraints I don't see this being a good thing.
The site admins will do as they wish; that's just my 2¢, don't take it personally.

I wouldn't mind pics in sigs as long as there not too big and its regulated.
It give you sig a more personal touch.

If the image was that small (320x20 or 640x20) then I say fine, but you get NO text in your sig. Your get a choice of either a "userbar" or text sig, but not both. Now if the forum supports that option is another story.

To see what works with what. There is no definative list of processors/usb devices/LCD screens/Mobos how they perform and what power is needed to run them. I get lots of emails from people asking me questions from the hardware in my sig. When I first came to these boards I looked at what people installed in sigs to gauge power/devices/manufacturers in both audio and computer components.
Once the database/Wiki is up and running, small pic sigs would be ok in my book as long as regulated and either text or pic.

What I meant , its 50% of the ppl who have sigs put what their carpc is , and they also include their link to their carpc;
i.e. : Quattro
Installed
Asus A7N8X-VM - AMD Mobile Athlon 2400
512 Ram - 60GB HD - Opus 150w
Lilliput 7" - Rikaline 6010
[00000000000001100010-] 98% Completed

---
Then you click that link , one of the first thing you see is :
Specs:
Asus A7N8X-VM
AMD Mobile Athlon 2400 35w
512mb 333DDR Ram
Lilliput 7" Touchscreen
Maxtor 60GB
Opus 150w
Rikaline 6010
Custom Sub Enclosure
12" Alpine Type R Subs
Hifonics amps, 1 - 4 Channel and 1 D Class Amp
;
Thats what I meant , why waste the space and increase loading times of a page for nothing.
